Usage: Usage Metrics Overview
The Usage section provides detailed insights into how your video content is consumed and where it reaches your audience. Here’s a breakdown of the different types of data available:
Spot
The Spot section tracks the performance of Spots. Here, you can view the total number of views for each Spot and analyze its engagement time. This data can help you understand which spots are most effective at capturing audience attention.
Sources
The Sources section gives you a comprehensive view of where your video plays originate, such as from embedded videos on external sites, the video section on your main site, spots, shares, or other categories. This information is visualized in a circular chart, and by hovering over each segment, you can see the specific impact of each source category on total plays.
Locations
The Locations section displays the geographic distribution of viewers who watch your videos worldwide. By knowing where your content is accessed most frequently, you can tailor content or marketing strategies to specific regions and better understand your global reach.
Embed Domains
The Embed Domains section provides data on the domains where your videos are embedded and played. This feature is particularly useful for tracking the reach of your videos across various domains and understand where your content is being watched the most.
Devices
In the Devices section, you’ll find analytics on the types of devices used to access and play your videos, such as desktops, mobile phones, and tablets. This data helps you determine which devices are most popular among your audience, allowing you to optimize video settings and formats accordingly.
Traffic by Video
The Traffic by Video section measures the bandwidth consumed by video content across your site, providing a day-by-day and cumulative view over time. This data includes all the videos served within the selected period but excludes additional elements like thumbnails and other non-video content on your site.
Traffic by Format
Traffic by Format details the bandwidth used by your webinars, distinguishing between on-demand and live webinar sessions.
